Paddleboard Therapy

We offer Paddleboard Therapy sessions

Meet , Ayson Halas, our onsite clinician who can take you paddle boarding!

Paddle boarding, also known as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), is a water-based activity that involves standing on a large board and using a paddle to propel yourself through the water. Paddleboard Therapy is a combination of physical exercise, exposure to nature, mindfulness, and the direct support of a trained psychotherapist.

The solitude and peacefulness of paddle boarding can provide time for introspection and self-reflection. It can be a valuable opportunity to sort out thoughts and gain clarity.  Your clinician will incorporate active rest time seated on the board and an agreed upon focus into your session in order to further enhance the benefits of introspection while also providing the opportunity to share thoughts and feelings aloud.
